Painless Diode
Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most popular aesthetic procedures. It is suitable for any patients with excessive body hair or hair in the wrong place. Patients who is sick of plucking, daily shaving or waxing can benefit from this treatment.

Our diode laser hair removal technology is able to treat the widest range of patients’ skin colour and their hair types. It is an effective long-term solution to unwanted hair and suitable for both dark and light skin tone.

The laser works by directing concentrated light into the hair follicle inhibiting the hair’s ability to grow without disrupting or damaging the skin’s surface. Our lasers use a wide beam which allows the removal of multiple hair follicles at the same time. We will take your skin and hair type into account before creating a personalised treatment plan.

Patients with ingrown hair and rashes from shaving can also see great advantages from the laser treatment. We have one of the best machines in the market for fast, effective and comfortable removal of unwanted hair.

A course of 6-12 treatments at monthly intervals will assist to reduce the amount, size and density of hairs, leaving your skin feeling, smooth, free and soft from the unsightly hair.

Results are gradual and will become more visible after each treatment. Most patients will notice an improvement just after the first session with lesser hair and slower regrowth. However, the number of sessions vary across individuals, depending on your specific skin conditions and concerns. A minimum average of 6 to 12 sessions, at 4 to 6 weeks interval will remove about 80-90% of the hair.

The treatment is safe and virtually painless. The area(s) to be treated needs to be shaved a few days before the session so that there can be short hair stubbles. Your eyes will be protected with safety goggles during the entire treatment.

3. What should I do before and after the treatment?

Patients should minimise any sun exposure before and after the laser treatment. Try to avoid going to the spa, sauna or swimming pool for a few days after the treatment. Prepare your skin by shaving 2-3 days before the laser treatment.

4. How long will each treatment session take?

Depending on the size of the treatment area, the procedure duration can last from a few minutes to half an hour.

5. Will there be any downtime?

There is no downtime and you can immediately resume all activities after the session.

6. Is it painful?

You may experience a small but manageable sensation that we describe as Warm to Hot sensation when we pulse the laser.  Most of our former waxing, stringing and electrolysis clients report that the discomfort is far less than those methods of hair removal.  Stress, fatigue, caffeine, your menstrual cycle and pain tolerance may also influence the level of comfort —  or discomfort —  that you feel.
